Pitching CMU Technology to Silicon Valley Investors

Summary

CrossMobile platform is a CMU Technology which supports Open Source software defined network and Bearer Agnostic Communication (compatible with Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth LE). This platform was developed mainly to support the communications between various sensors, computers and users in an IoT scenario like a smart city or a smart building. Pairing up with the engineers developing this platform, we(team of 8 people from CMU) decided to pitch this technology to investors to generate funding for the project. We pitched to Wildcat Ventures, Sand Hill Angels, Mohr Davidow Ventures and got feedback about the usecase of our technology and slide deck presentation.
